Announcing The Bjornlinga Saga – The First Published Work in the Archaios Mythos

I'm incredibly excited to reveal the cover of The Bjornlinga Saga, the first book in the Archaios Mythos, a world-building project I've been working on since 2007. Archaios is a mythic dark fantasy world steeped in ancient lore, forgotten civilizations, and primeval forces. It’s a place where tragic heroes, complex moral dilemmas, and an ancient, dangerous magic all intertwine, bringing a deep sense of the uncanny.

Set in the age of The Long Night, a spiritual darkness where gods no longer walk among mortals, The Bjornlinga Saga tells the story of the Bjornlingas, as they seek to claim new lands across the ocean. Led by Jarl Bjorn and guided by the Prophet, the Bjornlingas must navigate betrayal, treachery, and the growing ambitions of Uhtric Wayfarer, who threatens to unravel their fragile unity.

The saga, written by Fjolnir Ice-Eyes and translated centuries later by Kratian scholar Asanatos, explores power, dark fate, and the spiritual contagion that haunts the cursed land they seek to conquer.

I plan to have the first book of The Bjornlinga Saga available to readers very soon, and this is only the beginning of an unveiling of a rich, detailed world that I have been working on for 17 years. Each of the Bjornling books will be layered with immersive art, drawing inspiration from classic comics and medieval manuscripts. Beyond the Bjornlinga, I have several more sagas planned, each moving deeper into the history and cosmic struggle of Archaios.

Here’s a first look at the cover—let me know what you think, and stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches!
